Keller's Guide to Using Applied Business Research – Introduces principles of applied business research and provides an introduction to ABR resources, including online resources.

Industry Research Desk – A site providing tools for researching industries, companies and the manufacturing process.

Researching Companies Online – This excellent online tutorial presents a step-by-step process for finding company and industry information on the Internet.

Searching the Internet

  • Search Engine Watch – A comprehensive site on search engines with sections for users, webmasters, etc. The tutorials section is especially useful for users and researchers.

  • AT&T Business Internet Services – A list of links to numerous search engines and directories.

  • Search Engine Showdown – Summarizes and compares the features and scope of Internet search engines.

  • Bare Bones 101 – Created by a librarian at the University of South Carolina, assists users in making better use of time and effort when searching the Internet.

  • Ten C's Guide – A useful site describing the "Ten C's" criteria used in evaluating Internet resources: content, credibility, critical thinking, copyright, citation, continuity, censorship, connectivity, comparability and context.
